There's a reason why when you play a Western mmo, or console online (less so pc because there are mods to circumvent the dev-designed cheats and outright thievery), that the distribution of top gamers on the leaderboards are fairly even, yet on every single Japanese game, it is full of only the top players being Japanese, and the same with the Chinese games for Chinese gamers. At least Western games are fair, and an even playing field.

The Japanese invented this type of gambling in gaming and it's called "gacha" and has been around over 20 years now.
